Draft — pending legal review

This is an early-access, first-pass draft of our terms, written in plain language. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel and is not yet a final, binding agreement. We are sharing it now so the way we handle your data is transparent from day one.

Thermalico Terms of Service

Effective June 27, 2026 · Version 2026-06-27

1. The service

Thermalico is a contractor-first HVAC telemetry platform. It ingests sensor readings from monitoring hardware installed on heating and cooling equipment, derives diagnostic metrics, raises alerts when a system looks unhealthy, and presents all of this to the HVAC contractor who manages that equipment. It is a monitoring and diagnostic aid — not a safety control system, and not a replacement for a qualified technician's judgment.

2. Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity of everyone you invite into your organization. Use the platform only for its intended purpose: monitoring and servicing HVAC equipment you are authorized to manage. Do not attempt to access another organization's data, probe the platform for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to violate any law or any third party's rights.

3. Your data and who can see it

The telemetry, customer records, and equipment information you and your devices put into the platform are your data. By default, only your own organization can see your organization's data — access is scoped per organization, and one contractor cannot see another's customers, devices, or readings.

As the platform operator, Thermalico holds this data on your behalf to run the service, and retains operational metadata about your account (for example, that your organization exists and its headline device, user, and customer counts) for billing, capacity planning, and support.

4. Thermalico support access

Thermalico support staff cannot browse the contents of your organization — your customers, devices, and alerts — unless you explicitly grant access. When you need hands-on help, an owner or admin in your organization can grant Thermalico support a temporary, read-only window from Settings → Support access. During an active grant, support can view your organization's data to troubleshoot, but cannot change your settings, claim your devices, or modify your data.

Every grant is time-limited (you choose 24 or 72 hours), closes automatically when it expires, and can be revoked by you at any time. A banner is shown across the app whenever a grant is active, and every grant — who opened it, when, and for how long — is recorded.

5. Availability and accuracy

Thermalico is provided on an early-access basis, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the service running and its diagnostics accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and you should not rely on it as the sole means of detecting an equipment fault or an unsafe condition. Always confirm a critical condition before acting on it.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product matures. When we make a material change, we will publish a new version and ask you to review and accept it before you continue using the platform. Your continued use after accepting a new version means you agree to it.
